Linking several hotels, shopping centers and business districts, the newly opened Bangkok Metro runs from the Hua Lamphong train station in the south to the Chatuchak market and Bang Sue in the north. BUSESThe bus network within the metropolis is very efficient and economical. It is a wonderful way to tour the city cheaply. Numbered buses ply specific routes. Free city maps available at BTS stations can help you get to places on a bus. Fare for regular buses is between Bt5 and Bt6, and Bt10 to Bt20 for air-conditioned buses, while microbuses have a flat rate up to Bt20.
